Welcome back to students and parents!

Over the term holidays, a number of our students undertook Work Experience opportunities and all reports were very impressive from employers.  All students should be proud of their efforts and build on what they experienced and learnt of the workplace and their thoughts for future jobs and careers.

Some other students undertook other co-curricular experiences and we hope to highlight some of these experiences in upcoming newsletters.  We are always so impressed by the efforts and achievements of our students and the diversity of activities they undertake.

A reminder that if students are interested in finding out more about courses, pathways and careers, the VCE Careers Expo at Caulfield Racecourse is coming up next week.  This is a fabulous one-stop shop to collect information about all sorts of future options and is for both students and parents.

A busy Term 2 is full of many opportunities both at school and out of school.  Career Wise testing for Year 10 students is one of those exciting opportunities, held next week at both Warragul and Traralgon Campuses.

Physicists:  “Physicists study the behaviour of the physical world at the most basic level and find practical ways to apply new knowledge gained from their research in areas of science and technology.  Physicists are usually identified within three broad roles: theoretical physicists, who develop theories or models of how particular aspects of the world work; experimental physicists, who test these theories, determining their limits and suggesting new approaches to them; and applied physicists, who apply these findings in practical settings, such as within industry and through the introduction of new technology.”  http://bit.ly/2oCsEYb
