This week’s newsletter has an array of holiday opportunities for students from performance to science.  This is a wonderful way to meet new people with similar interests and make new friends and contacts.  It might also help to create ideas for future areas that could be explored or developed into a passion!

A number of students from Years 10, 11 and 12 will also be taking part in work experience placements – in a variety of work places from the RAAF base in Sale to medical practices, retail and many more!  Students are encouraged to ask lots of questions to gain knowledge of pathways, courses, trades, training – the list is endless.  Remember, the work experience placement is positive whatever the outcome, as it will help to consolidate or reject ideas for the future!

A reminder that all students on work experience placements over the holidays have access to Mrs Cumming via the careers mobile number if needed.  All students should have this number in their personal phones in case it is required, as they have completed the Child Safe modules and were required to make a note of the number as part of that process.

To all students, it has been a very busy first term, have a safe and happy holiday with family and friends.  Enjoy the break!

Mrs Deb Cumming
