Welcome back to an exciting new year in Careers!  The year has started with a rush and already many students are planning for the upcoming years.  As I talk with students I am always impressed by how they think and explore their options.  Many have no idea what that will be and so the conversation starts!

Towards the end of last year Australian Careers Service (ACS) asked for Year 12 students to submit a piece about how their year had been.  Charlie McKay took up the opportunity and has had his reflection published on the ACS website.  It is a lovely piece that speaks not only for himself but many of our students as they move forward into diverse and wonderful pathways.  I encourage all students and parents to read the full article at the link below:
https://www.australiancareersservice.com.au/industry-news/a-students-perspective-on-finishing-high-school

Years 10, 11 and 12 students are reminded that if they wish to undertake Work Experience in the Term 1 break, all applications must be in to the Careers Office three weeks prior to the end of term to allow paperwork to be organised and processed in time.
